Information about your Switch Snow Sports Booking.
Preparation for attending your planned lesson(s).
Unless specified lift passes are not included in the price of your lesson, and are required for (almost) all lift services within the ski areas.
Lift passes in the Portes Du Soleil fall into 3 main types:
1) Full ‘Portes Du Soleil’
2) ‘Morzine & Les Gets’ only
3) ‘Avoriaz’ only
Please make sure you have the right pass and have made us aware of the type purchased prior to the lesson.
Unless specified, equipment is not included in the price of your lesson, and it is imperative for you to arrive at the lesson with suitable equipment and attire.
Start Times & Locations
Your lesson start time, duration, dates and start location can all be found on your booking confirmation / receipt.
Our main start locations are:
Morzine – TOP of the Pleney Telecabine, on the snow outside the Main Restaurant (Chez Ettiene).
Avoriaz (Prodain) – TOP of The Prodains Express Telecabine, on the snow outside the building.
Les Gets – TOP of the Chavannes Telecabine on the snow, beside small Ticket Kiosk
When agreed in advance and if scheduling allows, we may start your lesson from a different location. If so this will be specified on your booking confirmation.
Group and private lessons will normally finish at the same location they start, however on occasions it may be possible / necessary to end at a different location within the ski area. On these occasions the end location will be communicated at the start of the lesson or by prior arrangement.
Lesson & Booking Confirmation
Once your planned booking has been agreed, In order to confirm your lessons, bookings made more than 30 days in advance are subject to a 10% deposit at the time of reservation, with the balance to be paid in full 30 days before commencement. All other reservations are to be paid in full at the time of booking.
Your Switch Snow Snowsports School booking is provisionally held until the due date stated on your invoice only, no lesson is confirmed until the invoice balance has been paid and received in full. Failure to do so by 18:00 GMT on the due date will result in your place being cancelled and opened back up for public booking or the lesson allocation being cancelled.
